General Information

Please be aware that the Lime Tree Hotel is situated in a historic Grade II-listed building and therefore we do not have a lift, just lots of stairs. If you require a lower room, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Our team is always happy to assist with luggage, however please bear in mind that if you are unable to lift your bag, we may not be able to either.

We operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout the building and in the garden.

Payments

When you book a stay at Lime Tree Hotel, we will ask for your credit or debit card details. We accept all major credit and debit cards. These details will be stored securely to guarantee your reservation, and payment will be processed in line with the terms of your booking. Please note that Lime Tree Hotel operates as a cashless property and we do not accept cash payments.

Amending or Cancelling your Booking

We understand that plans can change. If you need to amend or cancel your reservation, please refer to the cancellation policy of your specific booking.

If you have booked a non-refundable rate, no changes or cancellations are permitted.

If you have booked a flexible rate, cancellations or amendments must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations received within 7 days of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, will be fully chargeable and no credit will be offered.

All cancellations or amendments must be made in writing and via the original method of booking, including by email where applicable.

Group Bookings

For group reservations or bookings during peak periods, we reserve the right to extend the cancellation notice period. A group booking is defined as three rooms or more. Any variation to our standard policies will be clearly outlined in your booking confirmation. We may request additional information in order to confirm a group reservation.

Check-In and Check-Out Times

Check-in is from 2.30 pm and check-out is by 10.30 am. We aim to be as flexible as possible, subject to availability.

Extra Beds and Child Cots

Due to the historic nature of the building, we are unable to offer extra beds or cots in our guest rooms.

While we love welcoming families, we do not recommend stays for children under the age of 5 due to the layout and structure of the building.

Damage

We reserve the right to charge your card for any damage caused to hotel property, including carpet cleaning, or for any missing items identified after departure.

Lost Property

We make every effort to return any found items. For large or heavy items, postage costs may apply. Due to the volume of lost property, we reserve the right to dispose of unclaimed items after one month.
