My granddaughter, Sophie, and I would like to thank all the friendly, helpful staff at the Lime Tree for making our four nights at the hotel so enjoyable. We would especially like to thank Matthew and Laura who gave us so many helpful suggestions as to how best to get around London and enjoy the sights. We found the hotel delightful. Our room on the ground floor opened on to the terrace of the rose garden where I was able to slip out and enjoy my morning cup of tea. The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Westminster Abbey. We felt very safe walking around the neighbourhood even in the evening. Having the Wine Bar/Restaurant next door meant we could have good food in a pleasant environment without having to trail out looking for somewhere to eat each evening. I am recommending the Lime Tree to all my friends and family and hope to make a return visit some day.

We were delighted with the way our room was kept and enjoyed your delightful breakfast - to the point we are both now limiting our food intake.
Everyone was outstanding, you made us feel right at home and you may be sure we will recommend the "Lime Tree" to anyone of our acquaintances who make the journery to fine city. To be sure, if we are fortunate enough to make the journey ourselves again, we will certainly book the Lime Tree!

Dear Charlotte and Matthew,
My friend and I stayed at the Lime Tree in May and I wanted to thank you and your entire staff for all your help and hospitality. It was my friend's first time in London, and you really made our trip worthwhile. Not only did we feel welcome, but every single question we needed answered, you provided. On previous trips to London I had stayed in Kensington, but I am here to tell you that your superb location in Belgravia is the place to be! You are so close to everything, that walking is no problem, and if you don't want to walk, Victoria Station is right around the corner. I also want everyone to know that your suggestion of the Browns Hotel for tea was excellent, and well worth the experience. I am looking forward to visiting London again....perhaps for the Olympics....

Sorry we did not have a chance to meet during my stay. Everyone there was so attentive and professional, it truly felt like home away from home. Matthew is a prize to treasure. He went out of his way to assist me, even interrupted his busy schedule for about half an hour to help me resolve a computer issue. I nagged the young lady at the front desk every time I passed and she always served me with a smile and stellar assistance. Your B&B is beautiful and the breakfast was prepared to perfection, I can not wait to return with my wife. Thank you for the wonderful experience and top flight British hospitality!

Jackie and I were sorry we didn't get a chance to say good bye to you both on Saturday morning. Our trip home started early, ended up late, but was uneventful - which was what we hoped it would be. Carly and I appreciated the opportunity to stay in the Lime Tree Hotel. The accommodations were great (even on the top floor), the staff very helpful and the location wonderful for out museum-oriented activities and numerous meals in Chinatown. This was the best London-based hotel experience we've had in our 35 year relationship with the UK. We'll be back!

Enough has been said about the mastery of one Mr. Tom Hooper and the Rick Steves Tours; but not enough has been said about the foundation upon which each tour group must live or die! The place where one lies his head after a day of trodding about. The place where he seeks energy and sustenance before setting out the next morning. Where the energy and attitude of the accommodations can destroy everything great about a vacation.

What a lovely week in London! Our stay in your B&B was terrific - you are so centrally located that our touring was quite easy. We are recommending the Lime Tree to all who plan to make a trip!

I am now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota and wanted to send a note to thank you for helping make my first trip to London such a great experience. As a single, woman traveler, I was a little anxious about being in such a large city by myself. However, David's warm greeting as I walked into the Lime Tree for the first time, helped set the tone for the entire trip. He promptly pulled out a map of the city and outlined some of the highpoints along with a suggested walk. Ludmilla also was very sweet, friendly and helpful, answering several questions and offering suggestions. Also, I can't forget Allen, the very warm and personable "night watchman." It was a pleasure to meet all of you. The breakfasts were wonderful, the room comfortable and the service friendly and helpful. I will look forward to returning again, hopefully next spring.

Hello from Oregon!
We spent a wonderful week at the Lime Tree. The location is perfect. The staff and Mr. Davies made us feel so welcome and 'at home'. They were so helpful as we tried to make sense of getting to theatres, train schedules etc. Everyone helped make our stay a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed the English breakfasts. The tiny toy store across the way, and the little green grocers on the corner. Just charming. We hope to be back soon. Have told friends about The Lime Tree already and thanked our agent for telling us.
